Who is behind Ekstern CFO?
Our founder, owner and managing director, Louise Gravgaard Møller, founded Ekstern CFO in 2017. In just a few years, the company became a preferred partner for Danish technology startups seeking financial management, budgeting and related support. We are a team of finance professionals, proud to have earned a Børsen Gazelle award.
Louise previously worked in bookkeeping and administration, mainly for small and medium-sized Danish companies, and spent a couple of years in corporate finance. She holds a cand.merc. in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School.
Ekstern CFO now works with more than 40 clients. Together, they have raised more than DKK 100 million in funding.

Louise Gravgaard Møller, founder and owner
Louise founded Ekstern CFO in 2017 and is the company’s owner and managing director. She has experience in bookkeeping, administration and corporate finance and holds a cand.merc. in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School.
Pernille Schiøtt Mrzljak, integration and payroll specialist
MSc in Civil Engineering
I have several years of experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on payroll and system integrations. I work directly with all our clients, taking care of setup, payroll reporting and payroll processing. I set up integrations that automate more of the bookkeeping. With the right setup, we can deliver high-quality work at a reasonable price. We tailor workflows to each client, so payments and expenses can be processed automatically, and we have extensive experience connecting different platforms to accounting systems. I also handle payroll for small and medium-sized businesses and advise on parental leave, compensation and subsidies. I make sure EU sales without VAT and One Stop Shop VAT are reported correctly and on time. I am very happy to be part of the Ekstern CFO team.

Office administration qualification
I have worked in accounting and debt collection for more than 20 years, for both Danish and international companies. For the last 10 years, I was responsible for the Danish accounts receivable department at a large US company. I joined Ekstern CFO in September 2022 and work with accounts mainly for technology businesses. I trained in office administration at Det Danske Stålvalseværk A/S.
